theres a few different designers amongst these shots. but i'm loving them all. i've seen some of florencia kozuch feathered and fur creations before. however the wet look textile prints designed by Katja Guenther, now she has some great design ideas, they're amazing!! more on the shoot/exhibition at capital city pretty

now i know its A/W 09/10 collection, but i'm loving the whole dreamcatcher feeling here. makes a great trend. rips, tears, torn fabric, dark shades, creative trimmings, and presented on completely different garments styles. love it, theres no particular direction.

wear diesel

these were some quick shots taken after work outside my apartment door.

wearing Diesel print t-shirt, vintage boots, thrift store cardigan, plaited belt, bleached look shorts.

the Diesel collection A/W 09 is brilliant, its concept is based on weather; storms, rain, clouds etc so you can definitely see where some of the prints/washes have developed from. we've got some amazing distressed denim in too, its easier to sell because i've got passion for the design concepts.

sorry for not blogging much this weekend i've been really busy with work and events, visiting friends!! and most of all stressing about the deadline for my summer project and trying to fit it in whenever possible with everything else. i've literally got all day tomorrow to finish off 6 designs and 6 illustrations. hopefully i'll get there eventually. wish me luck and i hope you all had a lovely weekend!! xx

Diesel Party tonight!!

well then, i'm off to our Diesel.U.Music event now. We've got bands/dj's playing in our store (King St Manchester) who'll be in the final for the Diesel.U.Music world tour! see more about it

foxyman knows

i think is brilliant. foxyman was asked to do an interview for D&G's blog swide.com. the words are awesome. they really sum up the true world of blogging! the interview reminds me how much blogging can do for you! thanks to foxyman, its made me realise how much more of what i do in life needs to be put into my blog, i find it hard with time and when i do get time which is almost every day (ha says me who apparently has no time) i automatically go to see what my favourite bloggers have posted. i'm inspired everyday to get somewhere eventually. just hope it does something for me one day. check it out.

Rodarte S/S10 uses the theme of death valley and gothic/tribal. black, feathers, patchwork, raw hems and more black. but for spring? still inspires me to creative something beautiful.
