factory girl in fur

I watched Factory Girl two days in a row this week! that film is something amazing and so inspiring. i've always found the 60's era fascinating, but the factory! the atmosphere in that place must have been something beyond everyone else's idea of that era. it must have been many people fantasy. I'm obsessed with Andy Warhol's way of speaking and attitude towards his art/film and his relationship with Edie Sedgewick. And of course the fashion scene; classic and young but hippy. I've learnt a lot from that film and can see how its already influencing me.

i love how i'm reminded of winter with this editorial. fur coats, cold waters and frosted trees. thats what i imagine. they are such beautiful shots. it'd be amazing to dress like this in reality.

DV8 Cover Shoot Sept/Oct 09

now i promised all my readers i'd posts the images from the DV8 magazine shoot when i got hold of them. i've had them nearly two weeks now, i've just been so busy with things at home i've not had chance to get blogging and organised with keeping up to date, which these days always seems to be my excuse. anyway these were the shots that made the magazine. the couple being the front cover and the rest are part of the fashion spread!!
