Its monday morning meaning, a fresh start to a hard working week. We'll see.... I started designing some digital prints for my current collection this morning. I haven't shared anything on my blog for a while so here it is, my progress so far.

today

So my boyfriend found an old bike in some second hand store about a month ago and he bought it me for my 21st which by the way was last Monday. It had to be left in the store for repairs and a bit of an upgrade> We went to pick it up today. I'm so in love with it, been after a bike for a long time now.
Wearing: vest top, TOPSHOP, skinny combats, Primark (shamefully), leather, some shop, flats, Urban Outfitters, head scarf, vintage.

so i've decided to post some of my recent work. I developed the print with ink and mocked up some quick long sleeved tops designs. Heres some of the final outcome.

anatomy.

Finally handed in my assignment this morning which is currently being assessed. I decided on displaying my work as a portfolio as i was producing a digital print collection. I'll be hopefully printing my digital prints in the near future to make the real thing, and actually feel like my designs are going into production. I've pulled together a few examples of my designs and illustrations to share with you all. would love to hear your comments on these designs as soon i'll be assessing how they'll work in the real world.

These are my final digital print designs designed using my own drawings of human anatomy and editing through photoshop.

These were some extra print ideas for all over garment prints.

I decided to do digital illustrations to emphasise my prints. I asked Matthew to take some photos of me in our front room. I used photoshop to apply my print designs to show how they would work as a garment.

this is actually the first time i've posted any of my drawings, illustrations and design ideas on my blog. these particular ones were part of a trendbook i designed for my university project. I've always been unsure about the final outcome so any comments or thoughts would be great thanks!!
