vintage threads

so i went to the vintage threads event organised by emma doyle @ the circle club manchester on saturday. my partner was hired to take photos of the event so i was excited to see what they had in store!! i was there to see what vintage buyers and designers had to offer, and lets just say i couldn't stop searching through the same rails over and over again. there was so many interesting garments! real vintage stuff, costumes and haberdashery. you know how it goes!! vintage and that. i had to buy something so i came out with a broche with my initial on it and a waist belt! and i love them both! vintage threads was a new market for vintage and retro treasures for both men and women. there were hardcore vintage shoppers there that knew what was going on and lots of people were pouring off the street to find out what the big deal was all about. we even had Coronation street star Helen Flanagan aka Rosie search the stalls.
Schweppes RUSSCHIAN gave shoppers the opportunity to sample their new exclusive Russchian mixer which apparently is great with vodka! i had mine without and it still tasted great! Courteeners tour Dj's James McGovern and Chris Brooks who pull one of the finest club nights in manchester 'strangerways' kept us entertained with some of their tunes throughout the day. It was a great atmosphere and a really enjoyable day. met some lovely people that i will hopefully work with in the future.

take a look at the photos!

if you want more details about this event or you have any comments, opinions or ideas for future etc.

get in touch with Emma Doyle on emma@manchesterfashion.com. she'll happily give you further info.
